A true best-of-class parka, our layer-able and generously proportioned Fishtail comes with an impressively durable, hydrophobic shell fabric of lightweight cotton/nylon with a polyurethane coating. The shell has a certain snap reminiscent of the original cotton parkas but with a nylon content that adds loads of durability and function. A removable quilted liner with knitted wool lined hood and rib knit cuffs instantly serves as a 2nd jacket as weather permits. Taking its cues from the original M-51 parka, many of the original’s construction hallmarks faithfully remain. Every detail painstakingly considered and built to last. This is our most protective garment across all elements.
