A no-nonsense rub-off from the original M51s you use to buy at vintage military surplus shops. Remember? You’d cut the legs off to make shorts…which left huge leg openings? Good times. We created ours with a “short” in mind, hence a more tapered leg opening. Our favorite part is those dangly things (woven tapes) extending from the pocket bags. They served as tourniquets for combat purposes…reducing bleed-out…limiting venom flow (we take this shit seriously). Keep them in the cargo pockets when not in use. Our version is also about half the weight of the original military cotton sateen, but just as durable thanks to a 70/30 cotton/nylon woven textile construction. The result is an extremely utilitarian short built for summer heat which retains all the guts and authenticity of the original military reference.
